The Loud & Queer Cabaret has been blazing trails for Queer arts and culture for twenty years. As Western Canada's longest-running gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgendered and queer performance cabaret, it has debuted more than three hundred works. It has launched the careers of emerging writers and premiered new works from some of Canada's most renowned talents. The Loud & Queer Cabaret (L&Q) features an eclectic mix of acts, tracts, rants, dance, plays, scenes, monologues, film, drag and music from emerging and established LGBTQ writers.

I will be performing as part of the Heart of the City music festival on one of the two days. The festival's purpose is to showcase downtown Edmonton music and art. I'll have a 15-30 minute set. There will be about 80 artists performing on two stages, plus arts and crafts and other great family-friendly entertainment.

Must Be Tuesday will be opening for punk garage band The Ordinaries, and the groovy psychedelic Blazing Violets. Three awesome Edmonton acts in one place! You'll need a membership to the Starlite Room, so if you don't have one, bring five bucks. A membership is not required.

Must Be Tuesday will be performing at Bohemia's combination Halloween party and art show. There will also be performances by improvisational drums/keyboard/vox duo No One Must Ever No , and local blues/folk singer/guitarist Jody Boylan . There will be a DJ playing Halloween music between sets, and it's also the opening night of an art show by five different visual artists.

Must Be Tuesday will be performing this year at CJSR's annual FunDrive fund-raising events at Dewey's on the UofA campus. (Dewey's is the coffeeshop in the Powerplant.) Come watch the show and have some yummy food, or you can listen online because the concert will be broadcast live on the radio. The show will also feature Edmonton musician Shirley Tse , and Marshall Watson of My Robot Unicorn .

Must Be Tuesday will be teaming up with The Honeybees - an Edmonton folk/rock/pop duo with flutist Ivy Rich (AKA Amity Mitchell) and guitarist Ali Seifi - for a double bill show at the Orange Hall. Each act will perform two sets, and might even get together to play a few songs as a trio! There will be CDs and other merchandise available. All ages, no alcohol allowed.

Must Be Tuesday will be performing at the release party for Notebook Magazine's third issue. It will be an hour long set, and there will also be an open mic hosted by the Raving Poets.

Must Be Tuesday will be performing for 45 minutes at the reception of the Out is In art exhibit at the Works Festival. Out is In is a youth group that uses art to fight homophobia, and provides a safe space for queer and questioning youth. Come check out the art and listen to some songs at the same time!
